Port of Detroit Opens with Arrival of First Ship

On Monday, April 9, 2007, the Port of Detroit will welcome the ocean-going vessel, M/V Sandviken, to inaugurate the 2007 shipping season. The M/V Sandviken, a Bahamian flagged vessel, is expected to arrive at 7:00 a.m. at the Nicholson Terminal & Dock Company.
