Damen has delivered the first new Sea Buses to Istanbul in March 2007. The fast ferries were built under a contract with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) for delivery of 5 units in total. Following sea trials and technical acceptance at Damen’s yard in Singapore, the first 2 ferries were shipped on a carrier and handed over to IMM upon arrival in Istanbul.
