Aker Yards and Tallink sign contract of large cruise ferry

Aker Yards and Tallink Grupp have signed a contract of a large cruise ferry. The vessel worth approx. 180 million euro will be delivered in spring 2009 from the shipyard in Rauma. Aker Yards and Tallink Grupp have signed a contract of a large cruise ferry. The vessel worth approx. 180 million euro will be delivered in spring 2009 from the shipyard in Rauma.

The vessel will be a new development of the Galaxy-type cruise ferry built by Aker Yards. MS Galaxy is already operating since spring 2006, and the second one in the series is under construction at the yard in Helsinki to be delivered in spring 2008.
