The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the consortium led by Hyundai Heavy Industries of Republic of Korea (“Hyundai Consortium”) have signed an agreement for the establishment of an LNG Joint Venture Shipping Company. The joint venture company has been incorporated in Nigeria under the name of NIKORMA TRANSPORT LIMITED on March 2, 2007.
