Samsung Heavy Industries wins US$771 mln shipbuilding order

Samsung Heavy Industries Co., the world’s second-largest shipbuilder, said Wednesday it has received a 713-billion-won (US$771 million) order to build six container ships from a European company. The vessels will be delivered by July 2010, it said in a filing with the Korea Exchange.
