Tokyo, May 28, 2007 – Kawasaki Shipbuilding Corporation today delivered the Takahashi (hull No. 1585), a very large crudeoil carrier (VLCC), to Gios Maritima S.A. in Dalian, China. The 315,000 DWT, double-hull tanker was built at Kawasaki’s affiliate, Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (NACKS) in Nantong, China.
