Today at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Monfalcone, there was the launch of the largest cruise ship ever built for the British market: the Ventura. Scheduled for delivery in spring 2008 she is set to become the flagship of P&O Cruises, a brand in the Carnival Group, the world’s leading cruise operator. Present at the ceremony were: David Dingle, Managing Director of P&O Cruises and Carnival UK, and Enrico Buschi, General Director of Fincantier’s merchant ships business unit.
