MSPs move to hold up oil transfers

Ministers will be able to intervene from today to delay the introduction of ship-to-ship oil transfers in the Firth of Forth. Yesterday, the Scottish Parliament passed its first regulations since the election of the SNP government in May, putting barriers in the way of ship-to-ship oil transfers.
