The 40,000-tonne coal carrier Pasha Bulker may be headed to Queensland for repairs after it was dragged off Newcastle’s Nobbys Beach and into deep water on Monday night.

The ship is at anchor 11 nautical miles from the shore where it had been stuck since June 8, and divers were yesterday inspecting its damaged hull.
