Van Oord protects the Dutch coastline

Van Oord has signed two contracts with the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management to execute beach replenishment works on the Dutch coast amongst which is the largest ever beach replenishment in The Netherlands. The contracts represent a total value of some EUR 26 million. The execution of the projects has started in June and will be completed in December 2007. Van Oord will deploy five trailing suction hopper dredgers.
