Hanjin shipbuilding facility boosts Philippine employment

South Korea’s Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction, to boost its original US$1 billion investment in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone by an additional US$684 million, has posted an employment increase rate of 180 per cent from its 2007 target.
