ALL ships ordered after 1 August, with a total bunker capacity of 600 cu m and above must have their fuel tanks located with the double hull. New regulation 12A of Annex I of MARPOL on oil fuel tank protection, adopted by MEPC 54 on 24 March 2006 will come into force.
