IF THE record display of luxury boats at this week’s Sydney International Boat Show at Darling Harbour is any indicator, these are high times on the not-so-high seas.
Tied to the temporary marina, the fleet of 350 big-ticket cruisers and yachts, up from 305 last year, has turned Cockle Bay into a sea of moulded fibreglass, stainless steel and scrubbed or varnished teak.
