State-owned Vietnamese shipbuilder Vinashin plans to rebuild the Cua Viet port in the central Quang Tri province by 2010 at a cost of VND3.2 trillion (US$198 million). Vinashin, short for the Vietnam National Shipbuilding Corp, will turn Cua Viet into a 300-400 ha port complex with a shipyard, ecotourism facilities, a golf course, and a wharf to accommodate large vessels.
