The Karachi Port Trust (KPT) has temporarily suspended the decision to divert geared vessels to private terminals, The News learnt on Tuesday.
Now these ships-with-cranes will not be obliged to anchor at the Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT) and the Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT) as decided earlier in a contingency plan to cope with berth shortages.
