Titan Quanzhou Shipyard Co., Ltd., a growing ship repair, shipbuilding and offshore engineering facility in China’s Fujian province, today announced the launch of its second vessel, Titan Spirit. The launch of this 6,500 ton double-hulled bunker tanker closely follows the launch of Titan Quanzhou Shipyard’s maiden vessel, Titan Honour in August this year and underlines the strong momentum in the business. It is the second of the 22 vessels already currently on order at the shipyard, which represents a total order book of US$210 million. The remaining vessels will be delivered during the course of 2008 and 2009.
