South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries said Tuesday it had won a 1.4 billion dollar order to build eight container vessels for an Israeli buyer. The 12,000-TEU (Twenty-Feet Equivalent Unit) ships will be delivered to Israel’s Zim Line by July 2012, the South Korean shipyard said in a statement.
