Tarnbris, the latest tanker to be built by Tärntank Rederi AB, has been fitted with Transas dual ECDIS 3000-I. The system also has ENC charts installed for paperless operation. The tanker was built in Turkey during 2007.
After the installation, Transas also provided crew members with four days’ onboard training in Istanbul. This was done at the request of the shipowner in order to make the process fully compliant with the requirements raised by maritime authorities.
