NYC police: 2 dead in boating accident

The maritime crash that killed two men in waters off the coast of south Brooklyn was caused by a 24-foot pleasure boat colliding with a tugboat’s more than 1,500-foot tow line, a U.S. Coast Guard official said Sunday.
