Michael confesses that in winning 12 UIM World Championships, his race boats alone have consumed over 2 million gallons of fuel. Now, with the possibly more mature and almost sailor-like attitude that squeezing an extra 5 or 10% out of a 15-knot boat can be just as exciting as winning a race at 200+ mph, he should have an interesting perspective on the concept of the ‘green’ yacht.
