Of all the seven confirmed entries in the Volvo Ocean Race, the Alicante camp has been the most guarded with finer details about their campaign.

This has led to speculation among the sailing fraternity and spawned a number of Spanish media theories. Initial rumours of an all-female entry have given way to the prospect of a Spanish ‘youth’ boat styled on the ABN AMRO TWO entry in the previous race. All will be revealed, we are told, mañana.
