Lundin Norway AS, operator of production licence 148, has concluded drilling of appraisal well 7/4-2 on the 7/7-2 discovery. In 1992, well 7/7-2 proved more than 3 million Sm3 of oil in the Ula formation in the Upper Jurassic. The oil discovery is located approx. 50 km north-west of the Ula field in the southern part of the North Sea.
