The area Offshore of Van Oord has been awarded several various projects in Norway, Denmark, Australia and South Korea.

The award of the Ormen Lange II contract in Norway requires rock installation to protect the subsea templates and infield pipelines in over 800 m of water. The amount of rock to be installed is approximately 650,000 tonnes. This contract with StatoilHydro has a value of EUR 28 million. The works will be executed in various campaigns this year and in 2009 by the flexible fallpipe vessel Nordnes.
