On Saturday 8 March 2008 Odense Steel Shipyard presented its latest newbuilding, a 7,000 TEU container ship, for the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group.

Mrs Maud Andersson, married to Mr Bo I. Andersson, Group Vice President, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain, General Motors Corporation, honoured A.P. Moller – Maersk and the Yard by naming the newbuilding MARGRETHE MÆRSK.
