Pershing brings two of its most brilliant and best known craft to the Dubai International Boat Show – Pershing 72’ and Pershing 90’ – along with high expectations for markets in the Middle East.

From March 11 to 15 2008, Pershing went on stage at the Dubai International Boat Show, to present for the first time ever in the United Arab Emirates, two of its most successful craft, the Pershing 72’ and the Pershing 90’, both of which have enjoyed brilliant seasons of outstanding media attention and remarkable sales results. The Italian shipyard, which has now become a landmark on the world yachting horizon on account of the splendid design and innovative features of its creations, went to the Dubai trade exhibition in force, thanks to the high regard the Ferretti Group views this event with. This is a carefully calculated decision following a meticulous analysis of middle eastern markets, which are currently demonstrating a particular liking for yachting in general, and especially large craft that are Made in Italy. The demand in this area for luxury motoryachts can be met extremely effectively by the Pershing craft as they offer both a series of exclusive extras and a style that is absolutely unique. In addition to the extraordinary construction standards and high performance that Pershing has insisted on for over twenty years, today, thanks to their innovative layouts and tailor-made optionals, these yachts are ready to satisfy the needs of a wide range of customers and climate conditions.

Tilli Antonelli, the Pershing President, who shares the Group’s aims totally, envisages an exciting and vigorous expansion of business results in the Middle East: “Our statistics indicate splendid prospects for the brand in the United Arab Emirates and the whole of this region. This is dictated by a series of extremely favourable factors, most conspicuously, the dynamic growth of this industry and the development of yachting facilities along the increasingly well-equipped coastline of the Gulf. But also the experience gained with our customers here in the Mediterranean, an advantage we now wish to exploit directly here, especially with regard to the top of our range”.

With its soaring attendance figures and increasingly satisfied exhibitors and visitors, the DIBS is without doubt the ideal showcase from which to launch an effective sales strategy in the Middle East. Pershing can also count on it superior Italian design and the extraordinarily innovative features of its craft that are certain to be appreciated by customers who are both demanding and attentive to luxury sector news and whose preferences are becoming increasingly influential in the yachting market.
