J. Ray McDermott Far East Inc. won a letter of award from A.P. Moller – Maersk A/S to support the construction of the Peregrino floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO). The work scope covers the engineering, procurement and construction of 6,500 tonnes (7,150 tons) of topside modules for the FPSO. Projects of this nature are typically valued in excess of US$250 million.
