First Chinese built LNG Carrier delivered

The first Chinese liquefied natural gas carrier, ;’Dapeng Sun’, has just been delivered to its owners China LNG Shipping. The LNG carrier has been built in the framework of a Cooperation Agreement between Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., a yard of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC)

The first Chinese liquefied natural gas carrier, ;’Dapeng Sun’, has just been delivered to its owners China LNG Shipping. The LNG carrier has been built in the framework of a Cooperation Agreement between Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., a yard of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) and Aker Yards in France, former Chantiers de l’Atlantique. Aker Yards has provided the design as well as technical assistance throughout the entire construction and testing period.
