APM Terminals Tangier is commemorating another important milestone in the ramp‐up of operations at the new container port and transshipment hub at the mouth of the Mediterranean Sea. In March, APM Terminals Tangier took delivery of its last three Super Post‐Panamax STS cranes from ZPMC, in China. The remaining 11 ECO‐RTGs on order for the terminal are scheduled for delivery by the end of May. All equipment is expected to be in service by the end of June, signaling that this recent addition to the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network, which was formally opened in July 2007, has achieved fully operational status.
