Cargotec’s MacGREGOR business area providing marine cargo handling and offshore load handling solutions has received significant hatch cover orders for ten 9,000 TEU-class container ships being built in Japan. The orders include design, fabrication and painting work of hatch covers. The hatch covers will be delivered during 2009 – 2012 and the value of the order is more than EUR 20 million.

The hatch covers will be manufactured by MacGREGOR partner plants in China.
