Wavefield Inseis has won a deal from BP Libya for one of the world`s largest 3D seismic acquisition and onboard processing contracts ever to be awarded.
The survey, which will take place in Libya`s offshore Sirt basin, will be acquired with Wavefield`s latest 3D vessel Geowave Endeavour and is expected to take approximately 1 year to complete.
The contract will incorporate the industry`s largest ever onboard processing project that includes SRME and full Pre-Stack Time Migration.
