Aker Solutions has landed a deal to supply a drilling system for another deepwater rig under construction in the Far East. Aker Solutions has landed a deal to supply a drilling system for another deepwater rig under construction in the Far East.

Marking its seventh drilling equipment contract from South Korea’s Jurong shipyard, Aker Solutions said the deal is worth US $209 m.

The award covers a complete drilling package comprising engineering, equipment delivery, subsea equipment plus commissioning, for a new build semi-submersible under construction by Jurong.
