Aker Solutions has signed a US $210 million contract with the Jurong Shipyard in Singapore for delivery of a drilling equipment system for a semisubmersible drilling rig. Aker Solutions will deliver a complete drilling package consisting of engineering, equipment deliveries and commissioning services. `The two recent awards by Jurong Shipyard, represent another major milestone for Aker Solutions` drilling equipment business. It also confirm our strong position as a world-wide supplier of drilling equipment systems,` says Roald Amundsen, President of Aker MH AS. The deepwater semi-submersible drilling rig is scheduled for delivery in Q2/2011.
