Statoil Hydro has chosen KBR’s MW Kellogg subsidiary to provide detailed design engineering and procurement for work at its Mongstad refinery complex near Bergen.
Kellogg will be responsible for a coker revamp project involving automation of processes to improve the working environment and safety of the plant, parent company KBR said.
Kellogg was selected for pre-engineering work on the project in July last year to assess changes need to the coker plant, which is due to be shut down in 2009 for modifications to take place., and again in April 2010. Work should be completed by mid-2010, and engineering will be carried out by MW Kellogg at its offices in Greenford, west London
