News – August 18, 2008

Port Strategy reports that the Department of Transport in Ireland has announced that construction of new harbour facilities at Caladh Mór, Inis Meáin, Aran Islands, County Galway are currently ongoing.

The work includes the construction of a new pier, a new breakwater and dredging works.

Port Strategy said it is expected that all works are to be completed by September/October 2008, weather permitting.
