Norwegian-listed Global Geo Services (GGS) has contracted out its Alligator tender rig to Petronas Carigali for operations offshore Malaysia in a $200 million deal.
GGS said contract is four 4 years with a following one year option.
Total contract value is around $200 million, GGS said, with an average daily rate of $135,000.
Currently, Alligator is operating on a contract with Chevron offshore Angola until the end of 2008.
Afterwards, after recertification at yard, it will be transferred to Malaysia to work for Petronas Carigali.
