At very short notice Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) successfully installed the Jacky unmanned platform for Ithaca Energy Ltd in the Inner Moray Firth area of the United Kingdom sector of the North Sea.
HMC used its Semi Submersible Crane Vessel (SSCV) Hermod for the installation which had been undergoing maintenance in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Within a four-week period HMC recommissioned the Hermod and arranged with Ithaca to transfer the platform components to Rotterdam.
