Terminal operator Contecon Guayaquil SA (CGSA), has inaugurated three new quay cranes, eight rubber tired gantries (RTG) and newly reinforced berths 1B and 1C at Guayaquil Container and Multipurpose Terminal in Ecuador. The company claimed the cranes were the first of their kind to be used in Ecuadorian port operations and were the most modern containerised cargo handling equipment the country has to offer.
