Eight people have been killed and another eight are missing after a helicopter crashed in the sea off the north east Scottish coast. The Bond Super Puma aircraft was returning from an oil platform, just before 2pm, when it went down 35 miles from Aberdeenshire. A spokesperson for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said: “We found the eight bodies in the water, free from the wreckage of the helicopter. “Our main focus is now is obviously to locate the other eight missing passengers.”
