Eighty-eight staff at a port in Kent have had their jobs transferred to other companies following a decision announced last summer. The landside services affected at the Port of Dover will now be undertaken by either P&O Ferries or labour supply company OCS. It follows the outsourcing by the port of its security-related services to Group Four Security (G4S) in January. A further 34 staff have accepted a voluntary severance package.
