After almost 38 years with Van Oord, John van Herwijnen (62) has resigned as managing director under the company’s articles of association in order to take retirement. Mr Van Herwijnen celebrated his departure with business relations and colleagues on 7 May.

In his final position at Van Oord, Van Herwijnen was responsible for the company’s activities in the Netherlands and Europe.
