Eimskip has agreed to sell its 65% stake in Finnish shipping company Containerships to Container Finance, the line’s existing minority owner. In statement, Eimskip said: “The sale of Containerships is part of the financial restructuring of Eimskip. With the sale of Containerships Eimskip’s debts will decrease by IKr11bn (US$87m), but the sale´s loss will be IKr3.9bn.
