Jan De Nul Group has signed an agreement with Sociedad Portuaria Terminal de Contenedores de Buenaventura SA (TC Buen) for dredging an access channel and turning basin for a new container terminal in the Port of Buenaventura, Colombia. The total value of the contract is around 50 million Euros. A total volume of 5.3 million cubic metres will be dredged to a depth of -11.0m and partly to -12.5m. All materials have to be deposited at sea at an average distance of 36 km.
