Danish logistics firm DSV has cancelled its planned joint ownership of ferry company DFDS. The decision follows an announcement on 12 June by the European Commission, saying it had launched an in-depth investigation into the deal. DSV said: “The competition authorities have decided that the transaction cannot be approved in phase I despite certain undertakings proposed by the parties, and that it has now been taken into phase II proceedings.”
