Last week the construction started of Heerema Marine Contractors’ (HMC) Marine Supply Base in Porto Amboim, Angola.

The Marine Supply Base will be developed in joint venture with Angolan company Cembir Maritime Construction. The base is expected to become operational in June 2010 and will support the offshore transport and installation activities for the Block 31 development, and other offshore energy projects in the future.
