Maersk Supply Service A/S has taken delivery of Mærsk Transporter, the seventh unit in a series of ten anchor handling supply ships from the Norwegian shipbuilder STX Norway Offshore at Brattvåg. Mærsk Transporter, hull no. 125, and its sister vessels is a renewal of the medium size anchor handlers in the Maersk-fleet. Mærsk Transporter has a bollard pull of 170 tons. The engine plant develops 10,200 kW. The vessel is 73.2 meters long and has a beam of 20 meters.
