MSC Chairman Gianluigi Aponte has said that before the end of the year, MSC Cruises would decide whether to proceed with an order with STX France to build two new cruise ships.

The order for the two vessels was placed with STX Europe’s St Nazaire yard in France last September. Three months later, MSC informed STX that it needed to renegotiate the price due to the financial crisis.
