Five consortia bid for Petrobras FPSO tender

A Petrobras tender for eight FPSO hulls has caught the attention of five consortia who are bidding for the US$4 billion contract. Last year in September, Petrobras said it would seek ten FPSOs to pull oil from the Santos Basin. Two vessels will be chartered while the other eight would be part of an on-going tender process. The FPSOs are scheduled for installation 2015 and 2016.
