Total has been awarded a new exploration block offshore Cameroon in the Rio Del Ray basin area. Covering a total of 83.6 sq. km, the Lunghe exploration block will be held by Total with 100% equity and it is adjacent to other concessions already held by Total offshore Cameroon.

Present as a production operator in Cameroon since 1977, Total accounts for 65% of the country’s overall production and in November last year acquired exclusive authorisation to become operator of Cameroon’s Dissoni field.
