A yacht with two crew which sparked a rescue operation in the North Sea has been safely towed to safety. Peterhead lifeboat went to the 36ft yacht Anga’s aid after losing her mast in rough seas 75 miles off the coast on Wednesday morning. The yacht was taken under tow and arrived in Peterhead about 10 hours later at about 2300 BST.
