During the OTC Conference & Exhibition in Houston from 3-6 May 2010, Van Oord Offshore will open its new representative office in the U.S.A.. The office is located in Houston, Texas, the oil and gas capital of the Western Hemisphere and home of many major oil and gas companies, engineering firms and other important players in the energy industry.
With Van Oord’s growing position in the offshore market, the establishment of the new representative office is a valuable addition to Van Oord’s global network of local branches and affiliates. The main focus of the Houston office is to reinforce Van Oord’s business development capabilities for its offshore activities worldwide. The office will be headed by Jos Wellink. A small informal ceremony during which the keys of the new office will be handed over to Jos will be organized on Tuesday the 4th of May at noon at the Van Oord stand number 2625 at OTC 2010, Main Hall D.
